Neri K's 11 En Route to 2-0 Seawolves Win
|
Mathieu Neri pitched a gem to lead Long Island to a 2-0 victory over the Bethesda Atoms. Orynn Veillon converted his 7th save in 10 tries. The Seawolves bumped their record to 41-19 with this latest triumph.
Neri was in the zone all game. He frustrated Bethesda hitters while giving the Seawolves 8 innings of quality work. Neri threw 100 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 11 punchouts.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Neri said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
