Pitcher Raúl Sánchez was sensational for the Richland Rails in his team's 7-1 triumph over the Lannister United Lionhearts. Sánchez received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Richland reliever Raúl Sánchez was credited with the win, to go to 4-1. Hercules Mata'afa took the loss for Lannister United. Richland now owns a record of 23-21.
César Núñes, who is tied for 5th in the SAA in RBI with 29, contributed to the Richland win with a 3-run home run in the top of the third. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Sánchez.
