Rails, Akintola Pin Bad Loss on Ghosts
The Richland Rails thumped the Casper Ghosts, 11-0, at The Graveyard. Manyara Akintola was a big reason his team got the win. Akintola was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Eurauraga Attunga, the winner, improved to 2-2. He held the Ghosts to no earned runs on 2 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 1 and walking 2. Hiroaki Nakagawa earned the save for Richland, his 2nd.

Akintola had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the third, when he hit a double. The Rails went on to win.
