Hot N Readys Lose Again, 4-2, to Highlanders
|
Fans who gathered at The Pizza Oven saw a good contest between the Asheville Highlanders and Little Caesars Hot N Readys.
The Asheville Highlanders bested the Little Caesars Hot N Readys, 4-2, at The Pizza Oven. Craig Tricket was named player of the game. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Marvin Sidebottom picked up the save, his 1st.
Asheville grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Tricket hit a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Highlanders out in front, 3-1.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Tricket told the Asheville Herald.
The Hot N Readys, now 12-20, have lost 11 in a row.
