Late Rally by Farmers Secures Win
|
Roger Rodenburg never let the Rails get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his curveball, to pitch the Farmers to a 2-1 win. The loss drops Richland to 2-9.
Sébastien Cornu was the walk-off hero for Lancaster. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Farmers catcher hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
In postgame comments to the Lancaster Today, Cornu said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
