The Lancaster Farmers did just enough to secure a 5-4 victory over the Richland Rails at Farmers Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Daron Muldoon, who captured player of the game honors. René Fontaine earned the save for Lancaster, his 4th of the year. The win leaves Lancaster with a record of 5-5.

The Farmers got a big at-bat from catcher Sébastien Cornu. For the game, Cornu was 1-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave Lancaster a 3-1 lead.

In postgame comments to the Lancaster Today, Cornu said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
