BC Lose Again, 9-3, to Drummers
|
Despite a great performance by Houston left fielder Alba Hidalgo de Jesus, the Tortolita Drummers defeated the BC by the score of 9-3 at Drummers Ballpark. de Jesus went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Houston's current losing streak is now 6 games.
Tortolita designated hitter Glen Allen Mixon helped the Drummers to the win. In the bottom of the second inning, the 21-year old right fielder stroked a single. For the game, Mixon was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk.
"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Houston skipper Juan Casas.
