The Disaster had to overcome a fine performance from Houston pitcher Jesús Franco to grab a 1-0 win at Houston Park. Franco allowed 1 earned run over 5 innings. Port Royal reliever Magnus Scheving picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Jesús Franco was saddled with the loss. Paco Salazar got the save, the 28th for him this season.
