Brinkley second baseman Guy Toussaint made his presence felt in the 6-4 Belugas triumph over the Tortolita Drummers. Toussaint was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Brinkley goes to 62-28. The win puts them 8 games up in their division.
Wu-shiun Wang was 1 for 3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI for Brinkley. The 28-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a 2-run single off Johnnie Bough. It was his 51st hit of the season.
