The Brinkley Belugas topped the Tortolita Drummers, 12-3, at Drummers Ballpark. Brinkley left fielder Martín Alejadre earned player of the game honors. He banged out 3 singles and 1 double, while driving in 2 runs. Brinkley goes to 61-28. The win puts them 7 games up in their division.
Brinkley took the lead in the top of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Oscar Gandarilla stroked a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Belugas.
