Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Drummers
|
Tortolita beat Brinkley at Drummers Ballpark, eking out a 5-4 win. The win was due in large part to designated hitter Otis Brewer, who earned player of the game honors. Tortolita now has a 3-game win streak.
Ricardo Pacheco was the walk-off hero for Tortolita. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Drummers first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Brinkley manager Ricardo Medina said following the tough loss.
