The Tortolita Drummers got a stellar performance from pitcher César Manoel, who handcuffed the Alloway offense en route to a 3-0 win at Drummers Ballpark. Jesús Tejeda earned the save for Tortolita, his 1st of the year. Tortolita is now 34-43, while Alloway is 26-51.

Early in the game, designated hitter Otis Brewer had a run-scoring double for Tortolita. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Drummers on top, 1-0.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Brewer.
