Disaster Go Down to Defeat, 8-3
|
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Tommy Sullivan, the Hamilton Coyotes defeated the Port Royal Disaster, 8-3. Sullivan went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Coyotes. Nick Balleza picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Omar Casteneda was tagged with the loss. Hamilton is now 32-33.
Sullivan had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch cutter from Omar Casteneda, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Coyotes a 7-3 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Sullivan.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Sullivan said after the game.
