Disaster Deal Coyotes 7-4 Setback

The Port Royal Disaster picked up a win at Ballpark of Port Royal, knocking off the Hamilton Coyotes, 7-4. Starting pitcher Luis Vargas was an essential part of his team's success. Vargas, the winner, moves to 3-3. He threw 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 2 and giving up 2 walks. Paco Salazar earned the save for Port Royal, his 12th of the year.
Datu Lesaca, who is tied for 2nd in the 3AAA in stolen bases with 17, aided the Port Royal cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the second. For the game, the center fielder drew 1 walk.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Lesaca.
The Disaster' win now puts them at 26-21.
