Wu-shiun Lao subdued the Hamilton Coyotes, 13-0, pitching a 4-hit gem for the Hialeah Dodos at Coyote Wildlife Refuge.

"He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Hialeah skipper Kyle Besley said afterward.

Lao registered 7 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in his superb performance.

"We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Hamilton manager David Pacheco after the defeat.

To date this year, Lao shows a 4-3 record, 9 starts, 56.2 innings, 43 strikeouts and a 5.40 ERA.
