Red Pandas Topple Fog with Late Rally

Sunset District pitcher Larry Strozier gave the Red Pandas all they could handle, but in the end, Sioux Falls left The Bamboo Forest with a 6-4 win. Strozier allowed 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 5.2 innings. The save went to Vincent Hall, his 3rd this season. The 11th-place Fog have lost 4 consecutive games.
Had Magali Lenidas not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Lenidas hit a 2-run single. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the Red Pandas.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Sioux Falls manager António Molina.
