Red Pandas Continue Skid Thanks to Pacheco, Drummers
|
Ricardo Pacheco helped his team muscle past the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 11-4. In the game, the Tortolita first baseman slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Johnnie Bough got the win, improving to 2-2. He held the Red Pandas to 4 earned runs on 5 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 4. Travis Arai, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.
Cliff Aldridge took Paul Addison deep in the bottom of the first. His 3-run home run put the Drummers on top, 3-0. In all, Aldridge had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.
"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Tortolita skipper Arturo Chávez.
Sioux Falls has now lost 4 straight.
