In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
Alloway rode a good effort from starter John Ball to beat the Gryfindor Braves at Cayuse Ballpark. The final score was 7-2. Alloway currently is in 7th place in the Menard's AAA at 10-12.
Jonesboro, Arkansas-born José Zarate came through in the clutch. In the top of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd and the Halberds trailing 2-1, he hit a 3-run home run to right to put Alloway on top.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Ball.
