Halberds Continue Skid Thanks to Daugherty, Disaster
Port Royal designated hitter Bob Daugherty made his presence felt in the 9-3 Disaster triumph over the Alloway Halberds. Daugherty went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Port Royal, now 12-8, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Steve Bock, who leads the 3AAA in triples with 2, aided the Port Royal cause with a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the shortstop was 1-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Port Royal manager .
