Victory Over Humpbacks Takes Brinkley to 13-6
The Brinkley Belugas did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the Alaskan Humpbacks at Belugas Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Aurelio López, who captured player of the game honors. The Belugas, now 13-6, have been red hot.

Mario Nieves chipped in for Brinkley with a solo home run in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
