Alejadre Slugs Belugas to 12-1 Win
The Brinkley Belugas cruised to a 12-1 win over the Tortolita Drummers at Drummers Ballpark today. Martín Alejadre led the way, going 4-for-5 for Brinkley. Powell Beauregard nailed down his 1st save. It was the 10th win in 14 games this year for the defending champion Belugas, who are picking up where they left off.

Doing his part for Brinkley was second baseman Jason Bringle, who stroked a 2-run double in the top of the second. For the game, Bringle went 2-5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Arturo Chávez.
