Disaster Topple Red Pandas with Late Rally
Port Royal Disaster starter Miguel Angel Martínez turned in a top-notch performance against the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at The Bamboo Forest. The result was a win for the Disaster, 6-2. Earning his 1st save for Port Royal was Chenor Njie. The Disaster, now 8-4, have been on a roll in the early going.

Had Gary Chalmers not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Chalmers hit a grand slam. That made the score 5-2, in favor of the Disaster.

Martínez called the win "a collective effort."
