Drummers Trounce Fog, 10-3

The Tortolita Drummers picked up a win at Drummers Ballpark, knocking off the Sunset District Fog, 10-3. Starting pitcher Andy Fallon was an essential part of his team's success. Fallon went 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 3, and struck out 6. His record improves to 2-1. The Drummers are off to a nightmare start as they look to defend their championship, notching only their 4th win in 11 games.
One of the key players for the Drummers was left fielder Santo Alba, who drilled a double in the bottom of the fourth inning. For the game, Alba did the little things right to help the team.
"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Drummers manager Arturo Chávez. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
