Coyotes Drop Halberds with Late Score

Alloway second baseman Bass Reeves was sensational. He was 2-4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Hamilton beat the Halberds, 6-5. Reeves was named the player of the game despite the loss. Hamilton reliever Ebby Calvin LaLoosh was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Domingo Álvarez took the loss. The Coyotes raised their record to 5-2.
Dani Trejo was the walk-off hero for Hamilton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Coyotes designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Trejo.
