In a tight contest at Ballpark of Alloway, the Alloway Halberds edged the Tortolita Drummers by the score of 6-5. Alloway left fielder Carlos De Jesús, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Alloway reliever Seb Alport picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Gerardo García was collared with the loss. The win leaves Alloway with a record of 2-1.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Alloway shortstop Bryan Clifton, facing Gerardo García, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Halberds the 6-5 win.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Alloway manager Yoshifumi Kamuta.
