The Hudsonville right fielder made Quebec defenders earn their pay, lashing Quebec pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it." "Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Clement said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch." Gregory Clement grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 11th.
