Interns, Sakei Blank Mermen Monday, July 12th, 2032 Yeijiro Sakei of the Capital Hill Interns put on a dazzling performance at Alouettes Ballpark today. He shut out the Newcastle Mermen 3-0 on a well-pitched 3-hitter, ringing up 9 strikeouts and issuing 1 walk. "I felt strong out there all day," Sakei said later.
