Vera Captures SR Batter of Month Award Thursday, July 1st, 2032 For a rookie just breaking in, Ramiro Vera certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the SR Batter of the Month award for June. The 21-year-old first baseman for the Capital Hill Interns hit .356 with 7 home runs, 23 RBIs and 15 runs scored. Vera has collected 62 hits for the Interns this year, 9 of them home runs. He has also netted 36 RBIs and scored 29 runs while batting .337. |
