López Chosen 2032 SR Most Valuable Player Award
Friday, September 24th, 2032
At the age of 21, Manny López of the Orlando Magic could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2032 was good enough to win the catcher the USSL Rookie Most Valuable Player Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .383 batting average this year, as well as a .446 on-base percentage. He played 80 games and racked up 130 hits, 26 doubles, no triples, 22 home runs, 76 RBIs and 62 runs scored.
Dallas McMurran of the Staten Island Pizza Rats finished second in voting, while Andy Roarick of the Athletic Club KC U-21 finished third.
