Ramírez Gets SR Batter of the Month Trophy Sunday, August 1st, 2032 At only 18 years of age, Román Ramírez could very well be having many more months like the last this in his career. That would be great news for fans of the Valley View Cougars, as July was one to remember for the center fielder and he has captured the USSL Rookie Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .490 with 2 home runs, 22 RBIs and 26 runs scored. This year Ramírez is batting .350 with 86 hits, 5 home runs, 37 RBIs, 11 walks, .396 OBP and has scored 45 runs. |
