Nate Jones Out for Season
Friday, June 25th, 2032
A blow for Nate Jones today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 9 months with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Jones suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the San Diego Clippers are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Jones's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature.

This season Jones has notched 6 saves with 26 strikeouts and 6 walks in 18 innings while registering a 3.50 ERA and a 1-0 won-lost record.
