The Phoenix Hotspur Academy first baseman drilled opposing pitchers for 9 hits in 18 at-bats to roll up a .500 batting average and the USPL Rookie Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. Hernández is hitting at a .332 mark this season. His stats show 12 home runs, 51 RBIs and 35 runs scored.
