Ladue No Match for Simic Monday, July 26th, 2032 Fort Knox Centennial fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Pavle Simic blanked the Ladue Rams, 4-0 at Ballpark of Wellsville today. Simic stopped them on 7 hits while walking 2 and striking out 4. "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Centennial skipper Martin Richards said. "He was on top of his game in this one." So far this year Simic has made 8 starts, tossed 55.1 innings, struck out 34 batters and walked 12. His record is 4-1 with a 2.28 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .262 batting average.
