Steve McKinney Out for Season
Thursday, July 1st, 2032
A blow for Steve McKinney today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 12 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. McKinney suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Chesapeake Continentals are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about McKinney's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature.

This season in 10 relief appearances McKinney has thrown 20 innings and collected no saves. His won-lost record is 0-0 with a 3.15 ERA.
