Marcel Roks Named Premier SAA Player Saturday, October 9th, 2032 He may have less experience than most of his USSL Double A peers, but that didn't slow Marcel Roks down at all in 2032. At the age of 22, the Lancaster second baseman has been named the winner of the USSL Double A Outstanding Hitter Award. He had a .362 batting average and a .402 on-base percentage this year. In 102 games he piled up 139 hits, 26 doubles, 1 triple, 18 home runs, 68 RBIs and 52 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year." Alfredo Sánchez of the Long Island Seawolves finished second in voting, while Troy Whitehurst of the Athletic Club KC Academy finished third. |
