van Rijn Wins USSL Double A Pitching Crown Friday, October 8th, 2032 Marnix van Rijn of the Lancaster Farmers had a fine 16-4 season in 2032 and today claimed the USSL Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award. He started 25 times, threw 159.1 innings while collecting 163 strikeouts and fashioned a 2.15 ERA. van Rijn allowed only 119 hits, 53 walks and a .208 opponents' batting average. Montrell Baxa of the Lancaster Farmers finished second in voting, while Daniel Lavalley of the Long Island Seawolves finished third. |
