Salem No Match for Codes Thursday, September 16th, 2032 Atlantic City Sonics fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Amando Codes blanked the Salem Misfits, 4-0 at Sonics Ballpark today. Codes stopped them on 4 hits while walking 1 and striking out 5. "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Sonics skipper Manuel Hernández said. "He was on top of his game in this one." So far this year Codes has made 1 starts, tossed 39.2 innings, struck out 32 batters and walked 20. His record is 2-2 with a 2.04 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .186 batting average.
