Salem Shortstop Nets SAA Award Monday, September 6th, 2032 The Salem Misfits received word today that shortstop Javier López was selected USSL Double A Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games. López took full advantage of all 34 plate appearances last week as he hit .448 with 13 hits, 4 home runs, 6 RBIs and 7 runs scored. For the season, López is hitting at a .305 clip with 8 home runs, 38 RBIs and has scored 29 runs. He has 71 hits, 38 walks and a .399 on-base percentage. |
