Thomas Named SAA Batter of the Month Wednesday, September 1st, 2032 Melvin Thomas may be much younger than other hitters in the USSL Double A, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 20-year-old Lannister United shortstop hit .337 with 4 home runs, 21 RBIs and 15 runs scored. This season Thomas is swinging the bat at a .287 rate with 111 hits in 387 at-bats. To date he has hit 10 home runs, scored 48 runs and driven in 47. |
