Athletic Club KC Academy Second Baseman Nets SAA Award Monday, August 2nd, 2032 Colin Bottone burst onto the USSL Double A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie second baseman for Athletic Club KC Academy garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 24-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .500 (13-for-26) with no home runs and 2 RBIs last week. This season Bottone is swinging the bat at a .274 rate with 79 hits in 288 at-bats. To date he has hit 3 home runs, scored 35 runs and driven in 24. |
