Sonics Ángel Gone for Year
Sunday, August 1st, 2032
The season is finished for Orlando Ángel of the Atlantic City Sonics. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Sonics reliever suffered a ruptured disc while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Tacoma Fur Traders. Team doctors said it would take at least 7-8 months to heal.

To date this year Ángel has won 1 and lost 1 with a 7.50 ERA, no saves and 9 strikeouts in 11 relief appearances.
