Garza Nabs 3AA Weekly Award Monday, September 6th, 2032 26-year-old Carlos Garza made a few Irving headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 30 at-bats to put up a .400 average. Garza collected 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 5 runs. This season Garza is swinging the bat at a .331 rate with 125 hits in 378 at-bats. To date he has hit 23 home runs, scored 58 runs and driven in 76. |
