Díaz on Fire, Strikes out 15 Polar Bears Monday, August 30th, 2032 Luis Díaz of the San Antonio BC put on a pitching clinic today at San Antonio Field as he struck out 15 Billings Polar Bears in a 5-2 victory. Díaz, who is tied for 3rd in the 3AA with a 9.3 K/9 rate, was simply magnificent as he held the Polar Bears to 4 hits. He walked 1. "I felt okay at the beginning," Díaz said, "but eventually my fastball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Díaz's performance, BC manager shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating." Díaz has a 6-2 season record so far.
