Helminen Earns 3AA Player of the Week Monday, August 9th, 2032 So far in his young career, Arvo Helminen has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Virginia Beach Deuces center fielder hit at a torrid .538 clip as he collected 7 hits in 13 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Helminen is swinging at a .267 pace on the year with 2 home runs, 16 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has played in 37 games. |
