Tritons Come up Short of Playoffs Monday, September 20th, 2032 A close finish won't make it any easier for the Jersey City Tritons to end their season early. The club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention for the 2032 season. "There were some things broken and some things said that are not repeatable," Tritons manager Pierre Muller. The Tritons have missed the playoffs 14 times in their 17 years as a USPL Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2029. In the last 10 seasons, the Tritons have missed the playoffs 8 times. Jersey City last won the PL AAA Championship in 2029. |
