3AAA Player of the Week, Díaz of Florida Monday, July 12th, 2032 So far in his young career, Jorge Díaz has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Florida Men center fielder hit at a torrid .389 clip as he collected 7 hits in 18 at-bats, 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored. This year Díaz has collected a .273 batting average to date with 62 hits in 227 at-bats, 44 RBIs, 13 home runs and scored 42 times. He has played in 54 games. |
