3AAA Player of the Week, Alcalá of Alloway Monday, July 5th, 2032 José Alcalá burst onto the M3L Triple A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie right fielder for Alloway garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 27-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .480 (12-for-25) with 4 home runs and 7 RBIs last week. This year Alcalá has collected a .323 batting average to date with 43 hits in 133 at-bats, 18 RBIs, 8 home runs and scored 29 times. He has played in 35 games. |
