Chien and Sanogo Brawl, League Suspends Them Thursday, September 16th, 2032 After an intense confrontation, both the Timber Hawks Yun-qi Chien and the Great Lakers Chad Sanogo were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Augusta-Pure Michigan game. Both players will miss 7 games as a result of their actions. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Yun-qi Chien commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Chien is hitting .325 this year with 6 home runs and 34 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .369, 13 walks and scored 31 times. To date this year Sanogo has won 6 and lost 6 with a 4.93 ERA, no saves and 71 strikeouts in 1 relief appearance. |
