Torres Socks it to Disaster, Cracks 5 Hits Monday, August 23rd, 2032 Humpbacks left fielder Jesús Torres had his way with Port Royal pitching today at Ballpark of Port Royal and mauled them for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Disaster ruined his great day by toppling the Humpbacks, 9-6. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Port Royal credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Torres did today," Disaster skipper said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Jesús Torres singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 9th, singled in the 12th and grounded out in the 13th.
