José Guzmán Out for Season Sunday, September 14th, 2031 A blow for José Guzmán today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 7 months with a torn labrum. Guzmán suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Sioux Falls Red Pandas are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Guzmán's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. To date this year Guzmán has won 2 and lost 1 with a 3.29 ERA, 1 save and 19 strikeouts in 11 relief appearances. |
